My hopes to have a smooth transition seems to be vain.
A part a linking problem (basically, you upgrade glib2, everything breaks, whooh!), gnome-vfs 2.11 has other problems a part the ones already spotted in 2.10, I’m trying to see if I’m able to provide patches to upstream in time for the codefreeze but it’s planned in three days and it takes time to test the patches…
I hope that next gnome release can be tested more on Gentoo/FreeBSD, as seems like ports simply doesn’t tests the prereleases, not just of gnome but of quite everything.
By the way, about the big sys-freebsd move, remember to run scripts/move.sh script to fix your system.. it’s really really really important!
