flame@yamato bzr % bzr branch http://bzr.savannah.nongnu.org/r/man-db
http://bzr.savannah.nongnu.org/r/man-db/ is permanently redirected to http+urllib://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/man-db/
bzr: ERROR: Not a branch: “http+urllib://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/man-db/.bzr/branch/“.
The command is copy-pasted from Savannah …
And yes, this was trying to fix man-db with heirloom-doctools .
I hate bzr too, but this one’s Savannah’s fault (see the ever-so-helpful “Note: these paths are the default paths. Maybe the project is using a different layout.”) Try http://bzr.savannah.nongnu….
Ah thanks… indeed very helpful comment to leave without explaining what the heck they were saying =_= SourceForge has more useful texts usually.Oh well I guess now it’s the turn for submitting the stuff upstream…

Any chance you could change the stylesheet a little on this page so that users browsing without images don’t have to read black on brown text ;)Even just changing the template to<typo:code><div class=”left” id=”main” style=”background: #fff; color: #000″></typo:code> would make life easier. For what it is worth I’m using a local stylesheet that makes that change, because I do enjoy reading your posts enough to figure out how user stylesheets work.
also ..last couple weeks don’t see new entries in RSS feeds…probably something you had to do because of broken clients …(I remeber a previous post on the subject) but it did work after the post…the problem seemed to appear for me when you were fussing about ISP’s and their naming stuff. Both clients Firefox and IE
I’ll see what I can do about the CSS, the feeds should be fine now, I hope.
yes…feeds fine now.
Many thanks for fixing man-db! I feel myself a bit guilty for making you fight with so many hateful things at once. At least man-db is able to display internationalizd messages (I mean man’s own messages, not the manpages.)
