Amarok release…

… well, I’ve already written about the release of Amarok 1.4.3 and my request of tester for the MTP devices support (or a device to test with), but as I did that before the actual release, I thought it might be worth trying to help them out 😉

Also, by pointing to the release announcement I can give you a good changelog listing, although I won’t do like certain developers asking you explicitely to digg it … I’ll do it subtly 😛

Kidding a part (sorry sebr, it wasn’t intended as an offence :)), actually I want to use this blog as a way to ask my users what they want out of Amarok in Gentoo right now. The moodbar support that was present in the past via exscalibar is now present with another moodbar package, but I’m not sure if I want to spend time adding that to portage. I haven’t received any bug asking for anything lately, but I want to make sure people are not using external ebuilds just to have features they want; media-sound/amarok is there for this 🙂

So, if you feel like I forgot something, a part musicbrainz support that, as I said, crashes here and I want that fixed before adding it back, please comment on this blog entry, and I’ll try to do my best to provide you with what you need 🙂

Think of this like a “your requests are orders for me” kind of situation, although of course I won’t guarantee I can do everything by myself.
