Farragut is serving my blog now for more thann two months, and it’s doing its job fine. In these two months, I was able to test Gentoo/FreeBSD on a different level, the production one, and it is proving stable to me.
The experimental stuff is currently being done on Defiant, that is sharing the load of compiling with the rest of the boxes to avoid taking entire days to work.
But why do I blog about “Two months”, then? Well today Farragut reached the two months continuous uptime 🙂
8:03PM up 61 days, 9:39, 1 user, load averages: 0.08, 0.08, 0.03
Also, I updated typo today, this time luckily seems like nothing broke, and the older problem with comments is solved for good in upstream’s SVN. This new version of typo should be faster, and indeed it feels like that for me at least.
Today is too hot to build the new stage, but I’ll see to do something.
Anyway, just wanted to say that Farragut is fine 🙂
