Installing Solaris, perhaps…

Okay today I took the day off I told, I’m not present on freenode (there’s my shadow, but not my soul :P), and I started looking forward to have a Solaris box. I could just use one of my x86 machines here, so I choose defiant, the one where I was trying to update from FreeBSD 5.4 to 6.0, as this upgrade is postponed until I can sort out some gcc patches that might be necessary to do so. Currently, the upgrade is not possible via normal ways.

I downloaded yesterday the five parts componing the DVD iso, burnt it and put it on the DVD drive of that machine.. the installation process starts, asks me which kind of installation I want… then it stops.
It has been one hour that I see this:

Booting kernel/unix...
SunOS Release 5.10 Version Generic 32-bit

_

and still nothing else :/

Now I think I know why it’s called Slowlaris… will I be able to have it installed before night?

Edit: seems like what I stuck on was a known problem with certain USB chipsets. I’ve overriden the automatic hardware recognizion and now it appears to be booting. At least, I have a progress cursor and have seen the ethernet interface being recognized and loaded.
